6/2/2023 0 Comments Magnet streetWe went with Zola for our wedding shower invitations because they matched our wedding website. Minted estimated their cost for invitations to be around $800 (including a 20% off coupon.) due to being again forced to purchase 65 sets of everything when we only needed 60-ish We ended up NOT choosing Minted for our wedding invitations because we wound up needed separate invitations for people invited to the ceremony and those who were not. Also, they don't do customized samples which is a real bummer, considering the amount of color options they have for each design. You can't change fonts or font size, moving things around is a pain in the ass, and it overall is more frustrating than it's worth. Also, we ran into this with designing our invitations, the UI for customization is NOT user friendly at all. But back to making sure you have more than you need because I had 3 envelopes that were printed incorrectly and 2 more envelopes that had ripped liner. The quantities go: 10, 15, 25, 35, 45, 50, 65, etc (I probably have that messed up, but either way it's annoying). I needed 58 STDs and ended up being forced to order 65. Some cons: You definitely want to make sure you order more than you need, though that's not difficult to do with how their quantities are. Recipient addressing was also included, which was nice. They're also VERY pretty and the shipping was fast. I love that you could see an example of each STD with your own picture on it while browsing. Some pros: They had the most STDs to choose from. ![]() In total, and with 2 coupons (a 20% off and a 10% off for using the artist's watermark), it cost $145 after tax (originally $193). We opted for a foil design with writing and a picture on the back AND rose-gold envelope liner. We went with Minted for our SaveTheDates back in 2020. I asked a lot of questions about MagnetStreet and saw a lot of wonderful reviews about the three companies above, but I decided to do a comprehensive review! Hey everyone :) I have been planning my wedding for around 2.5 years now and it's FINALLY coming to an end soon.
